This week-end, Jim and I went back again to the magical forests of Shenandoah.
The spirit of the woods took care of healing me from my last sickness:)
Finally, my energy is back and so is my vision.
It was a beautiful day. Spring has left a carpet of flowers all along the trail path.
I took some pictures, but I am sorry for the poor quality, I wished I had Holly’s art or Debra’s skills to capture better the beauty of those fragile plants which may last one or two more days before the heat of the summer dry them up for good.

Glad you’re back, stay healthy. Don’t overdue the computer, keep resting your eyes. I know it must be hard though to pry yourself away from Atomic Gator so much to read, so many laughs…

Yeh you are right I guess the real challenge is staying away from your blog Rich. LOL LOL
Thanks Rich!
I appreciate your comment, my friend!!
I was catching up with your tweet and I enjoyed your Zoo pictures this week-end, with your lovely family:)
That’s beautiful! I wish I had such sporty inclinations, but in my case God/Allah spilled out everything on the wearing high heels part, I’m afraid
))
Love the flowers and all the freshness… reminds me how much in need of a similar escape I am. Thank you for sharing these!
[And welcome back!]
Thanks Jade, yes it is good to be back!
High heels have their charm too:) It is an exercise by itself too LOL LOL LOL
Thanks for stopping by:)
Love the photos and was very glad to hear that you are feeling better…take care not to push yourself too much before you fully heal.
Thanks Charlie.
Cannot wait to go on your blog I heard you have a picture from your trip:)
Take care my friend:)

Hi Mirella, I’m pleased you are feeling better. Your photos are lovely and the forest is beautiful. Aren’t we lucky to be able to spend time in these magical places? Debra
Hi Deb,
when I saw the flowers on the path, I thought of the beautiful flower pictures you take and publish on your blog, but unfortunately I don’t have your talent to capture the beauty of their shape and colors.
But I did my best:)
You would have love to take photos of those flowers in Shenandoah.
I have to tell you that your Como pictures on your recent post are breathtaking!
Mirella
Beautiful, I would’ve loved to go out and enjoy the nature this weekend as well! It’s finally spring! It’s actually getting a little hot!
Yeh I hate it when it is hot.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment, you are a sweetheart!!

Beautiful pictures, Mirella. That’s such a pretty area. I’m glad you’re feeling better!
Thanks Gwen!
When you will be in the area it will be close to you to go to Shenandoah, it is a magical place!
Kisses

I can see you did enjoy your weekend hike!
I grew up surrounded by mountains and living in a slightly flatter country now I feel all the more connected and at home when I go back. It looks very similar to your pictures. Early May is the most beautiful part of year, the lush shades of green with blooming flowers and fresh streams.. it feels like paradise.
Wonderful post to read, Mirella. Thank you for sharing it!
Thanks Marian! How was the cabin and the mountain for you too this week-end? I was expecting to read something about it in your blog.
Mirella
Wowsie Mirella, it seems you and Jim are serious hikers. That’s a great activity except you miss out on some TV shows.
I’ve got a big dog (you probably saw the picture) and we do a lot of hiking too. It doesn’t seem to slow him down as much as it does me.
Thanks Craig for stopping by!
Hiking is soooooo good! Jim and I love it!
Yes I saw dogs on hiking trails doing better than most of us lol lol lol!
I am impressed with this hike….we did this yesterday with two dogs. Quite challenging! We even saw a big bear paw print.
Thanks Amy for sharing, I am glad you just saw the best paw print and not the bear himself lol lol
